Yearnings, boundless joy, and cranky genies

The Stabby Eye show has come to an end. Some Stabby Eyes have found a new home, others are coming back to the home they already knew, one lovely lady in pink remains at the gallery searching for meaning and love and determined to find it.  Her secret weapon, the double fringe flirtatiously swaying from left to right like the grass skirt of a hula dancer. 

I am glad to have had manifested this energy, happy with the sparkling and swaying results, and ready to move on! Though I must say, the Instagram Stabby Eye stickers are my new favorite thing!

As I move past this series and embark on new artistic adventures I ask myself, what does my soul yearn for?  Where do I look for boundless joy and more importantly will the unreliable creative genies come to play?

I don’t have any answers of course, but I look back on the assemblages and trust that the answers will come.  When they feel like it, because they are bitches. I am not in a rush and I am patient. In the meantime there is cake to be eaten, friends to be seen and cumbias to be danced.
